Eddie’s Story
The following is an excerpt from “Eddie’s Story” as
written by Deborah Faithrose in the book, One Great Idea. It’s
a true and moving story about a teenage boy in trouble. It
reminds us of how we all share six basic human emotions and how those
emotions brought a surprise ending to the story for both Eddie and
Deborah.
I was given 20 students who all volunteered, mainly out of curiosity
and to get out of other classes for an hour. Nonetheless,
they did volunteer for whatever reason. I was told the last
boy to volunteer would be trouble. In fact, he was almost
not allowed to participate. His name was Eddie.
Eddie sat in the back of the room on the first day and everyday
of the eight week program. Even though he was in the back,
he made his presence known.
I thought I was to be the teacher and this would be my story. Fortunately,
I was wrong. Eddie was the teacher and it was Eddie’s
story.
If you face a challenge in your life that requires strength and
stamina; if you need a heart-warming, uplifting renewal of faith
in the goodness of humanity, then “Eddie’s Story” is
the keynote address for your event.
Find out how the surprise
ending to “Eddie’s
Story” can give you One Great Idea.

Go Hog Wild or Become a Bore!™
“Be Challenged at a Higher Level.”
Great results have never been achieved by mediocre action. You’ve
heard it said, “It’s never too late.” Well, one
day it will be. But here’s the good news. Our time here is
an extraordinary gift. A gift that gets bigger and better through
risk, adventure, and boldness.
Go hog wild with your enthusiasm for being alive. Imagine how situations
in your life would change if you did just a little more, in a slightly better
way. Now take that vision and magnify it ten times or twenty times.
If you expect this to be a typical motivational presentation, you’ll
be disappointed. Motivation never lasts. And guess what, enthusiasm
doesn’t either. But a wild hog is always wild.
If you want to go beyond motivation, beyond excitement, and beyond enthusiasm,
then start now. It’s not too late. “Go Hog Wild or
Become a Bore” is the way to be fully ALIVE!
You’ll never forget the stories. You’ll never lose the feeling. You’ll
never be a bore!

The BRAVO! Effect®
The Awe-inspiring Art of Affirmation
“I saw the angel in the marble and carved until
I set him free.”
Michelangelo
When was the last time you received accolades and felt admiration from
people in your life? When was the last time you heard applause in your
honor, and heard shouts of “Bravo?” Do you remember the affect
it had on your confidence, your emotions, and even your health?
When was the last time you gave accolades and applauded someone in
your life? Or, perhaps when was the last time you shouted, “Bravo!” to
a friend or colleague? Do you remember the affect it had on their confidence,
and attitude?
If you don’t remember, it’s been too long. If you do remember,
it’s still been too long. And if it’s been too long, there
are people in your life who need the special gift that only
you can
give – the gift of your own personal words of praise, your awe-inspiring
gift of affirmation.
When you become a giver, you will quickly become a receiver. When you
are with people who encourage you and lift your spirit, you have a genuine
desire to return the gift. You will become the person that people love
to listen to, love to visit with, and love to learn from.
Imagine for a moment what it would be like to work in an environment fueled
by constructive affirmations creating positive energy, innovative ideas, and
increased productivity.
At a time when global economy is faltering, every corporate budget, small
business budget, and even home budget can benefit from a boost in the bottom-line!
What you will feel, learn, experience, and remember from The BRAVO! Effect®

- Learn how an egg turned an enemy into an admirer
- Learn how a life-time of negative beliefs turned positive because of one
affirmation
- Learn how to encourage instead of convince
“A man convinced against his will, is
of the same opinion still.”
“Let us see in people what they
can not see in themselves; let us carve with credits and
acclaim to set them
free.” - D.
